Our history in Finland
Our story began in 1944, when Suomen Konekirjanpito was founded to support the reconstruction of post‑war Finland. At that time, financial administration required precision and reliability, and Konekirjanpito brought structure and efficiency to an era when every penny mattered.
In 2000, two strong players, Konekirjanpito and Pretax, combined their expertise to form one of the most significant financial services companies of their time.
On this foundation, Accountor emerged in the 2000s as a modern and comprehensive partner in finance, HR, and payroll, dedicated to making everyday work clearer and smoother for its customers. Over the decades, we have remained at the forefront of technological development, evolving from electromechanical machines to computers, cloud services, and automation.
In 2024, we entered a new era of growth and international expansion by becoming part of the Aspia Group. As a member of Northern Europe’s leading community of experts, we now provide even stronger support to companies locally and internationally, always with the same mission: to help our customers grow boldly and sustainably.
