Our sustainability work
At Aspia, we strive to be a leading force for sustainable development in our industry. Sustainability is an integral part of our strategy, built on four focus areas that strengthen the wellbeing of our customers, our employees, and society as a whole. People
People are our greatest asset. We aim to create an environment where ideas and individuals can grow – in an inclusive, inspiring, and creative atmosphere. We offer flexible development opportunities, continuous competence building, and initiatives that strengthen team spirit and collaboration. Industry professionals and students have ranked us among Finland’s most attractive employers for several years.
We strictly follow human rights and labour principles based on the eight ILO core conventions. We respect employees’ rights to organise, freedom of association, and collective bargaining. We do not tolerate child labour, forced labour, or any form of discrimination – everyone must have equal rights and opportunities.
Governance
We ensure compliance and uphold the highest ethical standards. We use our internal expertise to develop and share up‑to‑date knowledge with our customers. Our goal is to always deliver the highest possible quality. Our accounting and payroll services are certified in accordance with ISO 9001.
We also consider it essential that our customers act responsibly. We conduct thorough assessments of all potential customers to prevent corruption and money laundering risks. Our overarching purpose is to ensure that our customers’ financial management is sustainable and responsible. In our vision, people are at the centre of companies and communities that build sustainable growth.

Aspia Is Part of the UN Global Compact
It is natural for us to operate in line with international principles that emphasise human rights, labour standards, environmental responsibility, and anti‑corruption. This is why we are committed to integrating the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact into our strategy and sustainability work.
Environment
We operate responsibly with the goal of minimising our environmental impact. Most of our work is done digitally, which reduces the use of paper and other office materials.
When travel is necessary, we do so as sustainably as possible. Our travel and vehicle policies guide us toward environmentally conscious choices. We have reported our Scope 1 and 2 emissions since 2021, and from 2023 also our Scope 3 emissions. Our next step is to set an emissions reduction target in line with the Paris Agreement.
We develop our premises and their use to be more environmentally friendly
We develop our office premises and their use to reduce the impact on the environment by e.g. recycling our IT equipment in many countries and aiming to use renewable energy or energy free of carbon dioxide emissions.
Our head office building in Espoo, Finland, has been granted the Breeam Environmental Certificate.
